|Overview||The Central African Republic (CAR) has been unstable since its independence from France in 1960. It is rich in diamonds, gold, oil and uranium but has one of the world’s poorest populations.|
All nationalities need a visa except nationals from Benin, Burkina Faso, Burundi, Cameroon, Congo, Ivory Coast, Israel, Liberia, Liechtenstein, Mali, Mauritius, Monaco, Niger, Rwanda, Sao Tome and Principe, Senegal, Chad and Togo.
Visas are valid for three months and take two days to issue.
Single-entry visa requires 2 application forms, 2 photographs, proof of onward or return ticket, yellow fever immunization, and $160 fee.
|Work Permit||A licensed company needs to sponsor you for the project’s duration. The sponsoring company will assume legal responsibility for the employee while they are working in Central African Republic. The end client can sometimes sponsor a temporary worker, but they will often need to provide payroll for the sponsored employee. An employee is working on the wrong Business visa or temporary entry visa can be exposed to a swarm of potential legal and financial liabilities. It is best to go through a PEO to minize risks.|
